IN THIS rearranged league fixture Okehampton produced their worst performance of the season.
Crediton scored from an early Okes error and the visitors never recovered.
Okehampton never gained any form of control in any facet of the game. A few good phases of play were always let down by an unforced error.
Crediton, riding on the crest of a wave with several good results behind them, picked up three scores from errors and were worthy winners.
Okes only score was an interception then a kick and chase where Greg Vick out-sprinted the cover to touch down. Searle added the conversion.
In fact, the only area where Okes dominated was in the supporters stakes, where their usual travelling band outnumbered and shouted out the home crowd.
This Saturday sees a break for the 1st XV and hopefully the seconds can overturn Crediton seconds in the merit table.
