RADIO 4 celebrity Anne Swithinbank visited West Devon on October 1 to launch a new garden waste recycling scheme.
The gardening expert, who lives in Devon, was joined by Matt Bishop, head gardener at the Garden House near Buckland Monachorum, at the launch of the borough council?s Green and Clean scheme, which is being piloted in certain areas of Tavistock and Okehampton.
Two re-usable garden bags will be delivered to more than 7,000 homes so that residents can collect garden waste and cardboard, which will be composted.
