CALSTOCK is renowned for its community events like its regatta and bike show — the success of the village’s fourth jazz and blues festival has firmly added the event to that list.

From November 22 to November 25 each of the village’s venues — the parish church, Lime Kiln Art Gallery, The Boot and The Tamar Inns, social club, village hall and Calstock Arts all hosted music events. The event drew big names including the Femi Temowo Quartet, Empirical and Norma Winstone MBE with The Printmakers. The event also showcased local talent including the Tavistock College Jazz Band, Bluebottles and the Calstock Jazz Choir.

Louise Parker, Max Turnbull, Jeff Horsey, Vince Lee and Becca Langsford also performed.
