MODERN and contemporary jazz will be on the menu at Harrowbarrow and Metherell Village Hall next week. The Neil Maya Quartet will be performing at the hall on Friday November 30, as part of their Carn to Cove autumn tour. The concert forms part of the latest event in the fundraising programme for the Harrowbarrow and Metherell Village Community Park and play area. A spokesman for the organisers said: ?It is great modern jazz by a superb quartet of musicians, playing ensemble and solos of the highest quality ? and you don?t need a PhD to understand it!? There will be a licensed bar and raffle on the night. Tickets are £7 adults, concessions £6, children 16 and under £5, family ticket (two adults and up to three children) £15.00.
