ON a bright cold morning in November twelve local primary schools arrived at Tavistock College ready to play in the primary school's netball tournament, organised by Whitchurch Primary School.

All the teams played well and after an energetic morning the results were:-

Large schools – winners Whitchurch A, runners-up St Andrew's B; small schools, winners Meavy, runners-up Milton Abbot.

Holly Rippon, sports co-ordinator, said she was delighted to see so many pupils enjoying the game and having fun.
