THE many local supporters of the Santa Rosa Fund, a local charity that supports a school in Managua, Nicaragua, may like to know that the charity showing of the film 'Bueno Vista Social Club' at The Wharf on Monday January 24 raised a sum of £387 for the Fund.

Trustees of the Santa Rosa Fund are very grateful to all the local supporters who chose to attend on that evening, to The Wharf for their showing of the film and to Mike Roper for the rum punch that was served during the reception before the film.

The fund's local supporters may like to know that its next event will be the Loveny Male Voice Choir at Tavistock Methodist Church at 7.30pm on the evening of Saturday March 25.
