CONGRATULATIONS must go to Lisa Piper, the BID manager and to the BID Board, for the new signposts that have recently sprung up around the town centre. Finding a solution that satisfies all interests is never easy, and I know it hasn’t been in this case.

At times, Lisa must have felt she was walking through treacle! But the result is one that will help visitors explore more of what Tavistock has to offer, and help businesses, including those in less prominent positions.

Coupled with the far-sighted changes in parking charges, this must be good for the town. So well done to all concerned.
