MOUNT House seconds hockey team were in control away to St Peter's Lympstone from the first whistle.

Lopes was always a threat for Mount House. Even when a goalkeeping error gave Mount House a chance of scoring with a penalty flick, the keeper made amends for his error and saved.

Pressure on the keeper from Anderson saw him chase down a deflected shot to score and finally break the deadlock for Mount House. St Peter's showed more resistance in the second period but Treneer and Norris kept a clean sheet, with Barlow on his debut in goal making just one save.

A powerful run from Gillard resulted in a low shot under the keeper to score a second and seal a 0-2 Mount House win.
