THERE was another excellent entry of 20 cyclists who turned up last Thursday evening to participate in the second event of the Okehampton CC time trial series. The 10 mile course traces the old A30 road from Bridestowe to Lewdown and back.

Andy Retter took the honours on the night clocking a time of 26.35 followed by Tim Bridgeman with 27.21.

On Sunday club members Jamie Fabrizio and Emily Adkin once again flew the flag for the club by taking part in Plymouth Corinthians time trial which was also a South West TT Championship event.

Emily's efforts were rewarded as she was the fastest female competitor on the hilly 13 mile course and was awarded the ladies championship medal which is her second one of the season. Unfortunately Jamie punctured.

Last Wednesday Jamie and Emily turned out for the Exeter Wheelers cycle club 10 mile time trial at Honiton. Emily was delighted with her time trial which was a new personal best for the distance.
