Spreyton Flower Show committee was disappointed by the drop in entries and this was compounded by the attendance at the opening ceremony. Chairman Tony Talbot welcomed president the Rev John Withers, who congratulated exhibitors on the standard achieved in a difficult growing season. The judges also praised the standard maintained at this little village show. This event was well attended and made a profit of around £100 for Village Trust and RNIB funds.
