THE golden wedding of John and Lilian Rattenbury of Inwardleigh, was at an 'at home garden party' where they were joined by many family and friends.

Donations were invited in lieu of gifts and the sum of £1,115 was raised for he British Heart Foundation and the Radio Devon Air Ambulance Appeal.

John and Lilian expressed thanks to everyone for helping them to celebrate the special occasion as well as supporting the two charities.
