Marion and Bill Lake recently celebrated their golden wedding with friends and family in Tavistock.

The couple were married in Okehampton, but have lived in Tavistock since 1977.

They are active members of the Tavy District U3A. They enjoy walking, bird-watching and bridge.

Marion and Bill have three children and eight grandchildren.
