A YOUNG gymnast has notched up the medals at a gymnastics competition in Exeter.

Ruby Stacey, aged 6,  who attends Mary Tavy and Brentor Primary School and is a member of Plymouth Swallows Gymnastic Club, won the medals at the Exeter Challenge in October.

She was awarded a gold for floor routine, silver for trampette, silver for vault and won a bronze overall in the competition.
