Seaton Town Thirds 0 Oke Argyle Thirds 12 OKEHAMPTON continued their quest for league glory with a thumping win away at Seaton. The conditions weren?t ideal with a heavy downpour before kick off leaving the pitch very muddy. Argyle made one change to the team with new signing Richard Caron putting in an excellent performance on his debut. It did not take long for Okehampton to start proceedings with Barry Monnox setting up John Coakley for the first of his four goals. Seaton hit back straightway, however they found Neil Clift in superb form to keep his seventh clean sheet of the season. John Coakley then added two more goals to complete his hat-trick inside 15 minutes. The Seaton defence could not cope with the pace of Coakley and Monnox and it wasn?t long before Monnox was on the score sheet, who also netted a first half hat trick. Tom Wall got on the end of an Alex Osman cross to score putting Okehampton 7 ? 0 up at the break. Argyle started the second half on the back foot but there was a solid defensive display from Richard Eddy and Ben Woodhouse, while Neil Clift had a very quiet second half. John Coakley raced clear to net his fourth of the game with Monnox scoring soon after. Jim Callaghan netted Okehampton?s tenth. Monnox got number 11 and a Richard Eddy free kick completed the scoring. Okehampton are now eights points clear at the top of the table.
