A strong header at the back post gave an equaliser for the third time and a comedy of errors and mis-kicks presented Plympton with the lead for the first time at 3-4. The visitors increased their lead with a fine volley to end the half 5-3 up. Robert Cleveland reduced the arrears straight from a free-kick and dynamo Damian Knighton squared it all with an accurate cross shot from the left. Plympton struck back with a superb strike giving keeper Chris Bird no chance in the Callington goal. With Callington pressing, Ollie Walsh nearly pushed the game into extra time but Plympton smashed in a long range effort to tie it up at 5-7 to the visitors.
