Carlsberg South Western League Callington Town 0 Goonhavern Athletic 1 TOWN had an excellent chance to break the deadlock after just four minutes when Wayne Mouselli launched a good run down the left. His cross at the end found Andy Roberts but the striker could only find the feet of Athletic keeper Dave Wilton. On the 26th minute, Goonhavern grabbed the lead, somewhat against the run of play. Lee Dark chased the ball down to the byline on the right before cutting the ball back to the advancing Scott Rogers eight yards out and his slick finish beat Vinny Bowman to give the visitors the lead. Luke Avis Riordhan took more time than he needed to on 58 minutes and his final shot was cleared off the line by the Athletic defenders. Shortly afterwards Floyd was again denied by the Goonhavern keeper as Callington continued to press for the elusive equaliser.
