Tavistock opened with strong attacking, but the Plym Valley goal keeper worked hard to prevent goals being scored.
Tavistock picked up the pace which Plym Valley struggled to contend with. Judy Smallacombe took the first two goals due to the ball being fed into the D and good strikes being made at the goal keeper.

Donna Smith worked the ball up the pitch and Tavistock kept it moving from left to right which the opposition found hard to deal with.
The result was 3-0 to Tavistock at half-time and captain Fiona Dunn was keen for the team to double that figure. The second half was well formed with Tavistock passing the ball and moving into space.
Lisa Hogan battled well on the wing and made some firm crosses into the D. Smallacombe was quick to pick these up which resulted in her scoring a hat-trick.
With nine members of the team constantly making the attack it was only minutes until the fifth goal came from new player Caroline Ellis.
Tavistock were still goal-hungry and Laura Armstrong dribbled the ball into the D and pushed it past the keeper.
Caroline Ellis took the last goal of the match due to good stick control and strong determination.
