HURDWICK Golf Club held their annual Turkey Trot stableford last Saturday week on a glorious winter's day.
The winner of division one, with an excellent 39 points, was Chris Dicker. In second place with 37 points was club captain Tim Gale and in third spot was Tony Pearson with 36.
Division two winner was Ray Spear, Michael Ridley was second and Les Porter took third place.
The ladies' top two spots were taken by winner Audrey Pugh and ladies' captain Sally Arscott in second place. The prizes for this event took the form of Safeway vouchers.

The Christmas draw was held after the competition and was particularly successful. The star prize was a golf bag and there were more than 60 prizes in all.
The number of tickets sold was a club record. The committee expressed thanks to all who purchased tickets and donated prizes.
The midweek medal was not so fortunate with the weather conditions and low scores were recorded.
The division one winner, on countback, was Tony Pearson with a net 75, also with 75 was Phil Bryant and Ernie Trimble was in third place with 78.
The best score of the day came in division two from Ray Spear with a net 71. Rodney Browne was second with 75 and Cyril Lyon third with 80.
