A FORUM to discuss employment, enterprise and the economy in Tavistock will be held on Monday May 14 at 2pm.
TaVi Network, a community network for Tavistock and surrounding parishes, will host the open forum at the Wharf, and is inviting anyone with an interest in employment, enterprise and the economy to join in.
Adam Fleet, from TaVi Network, is looking to bring together a multitude of parties interested in this issue and how it affects the lives of those living in Tavistock and the surrounding area.
Topics for discussion will include Tavistock BID, young enterprise and innovation, the proposed Tavistock Enterprise Hub and a reflection on the application to be a Portas Pilot. Additional topics will be welcomed from those attending for open discussion.
Representatives from the local authorities, business community and community groups have been formally invited along with various other interested parties.
It is hoped the local community will grasp the opportunity to share their thoughts and ideas in this unique arena.
