CHILDREN and parents had a hauntingly good time at OCRA Gym and Trampoline Club’s Halloween party on Friday, October 28.

Held to raise money for competition equipment, the fancy dress disco saw children and parents arrive dressed as vampires, princesses, spiders, ghosts and ghouls.

Children played fun Halloween games, and there were prizes for the winners of each competition, including the best home-carved pumpkin and the best fancy dress costume.

The event was entirely run by volunteers and raised approximately £285 towards equipment.

The gym and trampoline club has 240 members and 270 children and young people on its waiting list. It is currently looking for funding to purchase competition equipment so that its gymnasts and trampolinists can enter higher level competitions.
