BEARING in mind the plight of brave old Miss Elizabeth Winkfield, and as our taxes rise ever higher, are we getting value for money from our frequently inactive councillors?
These are the payments we are funding from our already taxed income, so I leave it to your good sense to judge whether we really need so many part-timers on our payroll.
From past experience, so far as I am concerned, most are surplus to requirements and conspicuous by their absence, apart from polling day!
