IF you've ever planned to do the Sourton Scramble but did not fancy the ten kilometre distance, this year is your chance to take part in a mini version of the race. For the first time, runners and joggers of all ages will have the opportunity to win a medal by completing a 2.2-mile fun run based around the beginning and end of the full course. The cost of the mini race is just £5 for adults and £3 for children. Places are also still available for those keen to take part in the full Sourton Scramble. The annual charity event takes place on Sunday, May 13, setting off from Sourton Village Hall at 11am. The day will raise money for Sourton Church and the village hall.
