THE popular Tavy 7 road race will soon be here.

Mansbridge and Balment estate agents are again sponsoring the event which will be held on Sunday November 9, starting at noon from Middlemoor, just above Whitchurch Wayfarers Cricket Club.

It covers seven relatively flat miles on scenic moorland roads. There will also be a fun run of approximately one and a half miles starting at 12.05pm.

Fun runners will be able to register on the day at the Wayfarers Cricket Club. Entries for the seven mile race must be received by November 3, numbers will be limited to 450 — no entries on the day.

Refreshments, changing and toilet facilities will be available.

Owing to restricted parking space competitors are asked, where possible. to car-share and use Down Road so as not to congest traffic at Whitchurch Memorial.

All finishers of the fun run will receive a medal, the finishers of the main race will receive a souvenir T-shirt.

The proceeds of the event will go to Tavistock Athletic Club.
