WITH the last of the Christmas left-overs finally consumed and the New Year determination to do something different still fresh, now is the ideal time to try a new pastime.

Tavistock and District Outdoor Education Forum are running climbing sessions in the sportshall at Tavistock College every Saturday evening from now until the end of February.

The sessions ?which run from 7pm until 8.30pm ? only cost £2 and all equipment and instruction is provided.

There is no need to book, unless there are more than six people in a group.
