A TAVISTOCK resident had her creative efforts recognised recently, as she was announced winner of a hat and crown competition at a jubilee party in London.
Caroline Keane created a floral crown in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, to enter into the 'Best Hat and Crown Competition' that was being run at a jubilee street party she attended in Kew Gardens.
Caroline made a floral crown, with the help of Tavistock florists A Scent-Sation, in recognition of the event at Kew Gardens.
She was awarded a big box of sweets for coming first in the adult competition which she shared with the children at the street party.
