WELL-KNOWN West Devon author Gerry Woodcock will be signing copies of a new book on Whitchurch at Bookstop in Tavistock.

?The Book of Whitchurch ? a parish and a community? is the latest in a series of books by publishers Halsgrove on Devon parishes and follows the author?s ?The Book of Tavistock?.

The latest book retraces the parish?s past and includes photographs going back over a century.

The signing will take place on Friday, October 22 from 10am. A review of the book is to be included in a future issue of the West Devon Diary.
