PARISH councillors in Princetown are looking at ways of preventing further vandalism to a bus shelter. The shelter on the corner of Woodville Avenue had been the subject to a graffiti attack. As well as cleaning up the area, Dartmoor Forest Parish Council sought a solution to prevent a repetition of the incident and agreed to look into installing a gate. Parish clerk Ann Inman said: ?We are asking for quotes and looking for funding as it will be a lot of money. ?There are a number of residents willing to run a rota to open the gates at quarter to eight in the morning and close them when the bus station is closed.? She said if a gate was put on the shelter then the other bus shelter outside the visitor centre in Princetown could be targeted, so the council was looking into putting up two new gates.
