THERE will be ten gardens opening their gates for charity in and around Halwill Junction next week.

These range in size and type, from a 'courtyard garden' which uses every inch of ground very productively, to several acres, complete with large lake and an island reached by several bridges.

There are four new gardens opening for the first time during the event, on Sunday, July 11.

Parking will be on either of the car parks in the centre of the village and the beginning of the garden trail will be from Winsford Centre.

A map and garden description will act as the ticket. The cost is £4 per person, with children accompanying an adult, free.

All proceeds are for the Winsford Trust.

There will be refreshments available all afternoon and a number of stalls in the grounds of this Grade II Listed Voysey building.

The gardens will be open between 2pm and 6pm.
