ON the weekend of July 5 and 6 three very different gardens will be open in South Tawton and Sticklepath under the National Garden Scheme.

The garden at Blackhall Manor in South Tawton is a well stocked cottage style garden while Taw Meadow at Oak Tree Park in Sticklepath is a much larger garden which slopes down to the river Taw.

Its neighbour, Tawbank, is a lovely immaculately kept modern garden. The combined entry fee is £3.

There will be plants for sale at Blackhall and teas will be served at Taw Meadow. The opening times on each day is 2pm until 6pm.
