SCRABBLE, Trivial Pursuit and giant jenga are among the games planned for a fun social evening at Old Schools in Hatherleigh on Saturday March 24.

The event has been organised by Hatherleigh Parish Church in aid of the church building fund, to help fund work on Old Schools and the Old Vestry. Both buildings are frequently used by local organisations.

A dinner of jacket potatoes, chilli con carne, cheese, salads, and dessert is included in the £5 entry for adults, and £3 for children aged 10 or under. Anyone who comes along is invited to bring along their own games, and asked to bring their own drinks. All are welcome to take part, with doors opening at 6.30pm.
