A HATHERLEIGH gallery has found a way of making the most of currently unused exhibition space and raising funds at the same time.
Bargain hunters can head along to the new 50/50 shop in the gallery exhibition room at the Salar Gallery in Hatherleigh which has been a great success since it was launched earlier this year.
Hatherleigh Parish Church saw the shop space as a way of spring cleaning and raising funds at the same time.
The gallery has completely opened its exhibition room to people who wish to sell items on a 50/50 basis. The shop will be running during the months of February and March.
Sally Vick of Salar Gallery said the gallery had had a good response so far with new stock arriving each day and with many bargains to be had.
The shop is open for the same hours as the gallery: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 10am-1pm and 2-5pm.
