POOCHES were pampered and ferrets were fit at the Elephant Extravaganza on Saturday.

The Elephant's Nest at Horndon hosted a furry family charity fun day to raise money for Devon Air Ambulance and the Elephant's Nest Cricket Club.

The event included a dog show, ferret racing, cake sale, barbecue, fun run and bouncy castle. The event raised £800.
