SOUTH West retailer Fairway Furniture has become a member of The Furniture Ombudsman, demonstrating its commitment to its customers by providing high levels of customer satisfaction.
The Furniture Ombudsman (TFO) exists to inspire consumer confidence in the furniture and home improvement industries by working with retailers to raise standards.
Fairway Furniture can now offer its customers additional peace of mind when making purchases, due to the extra consumer protection which buying from a TFO member offers.
Fairway Furniture joins a list of well-known furniture retailers in their TFO membership, all of which have signed up to a code of practice which aims to inspire confidence in the furniture industry and offers independent advice on complaint handling.
Jon Walters, service delivery manager for The Furniture Ombudsman, said: 'It is with great pleasure we welcome Fairway Furniture to our list of members. By joining The Furniture Ombudsman, Fairway are offering their customers additional reassurance that they are buying from a responsible furniture retailer who has made a commitment to increasing consumer confidence and raising standards within the furniture industry.'
Patrick O'Connor, operations director at Fairway Furniture, said: 'At Fairway Furniture our mission is to offer great quality products at unbeatable prices — backed by a reliable, friendly and informed customer service. We want the whole experience of buying a product from us to be a pleasurable one — from start to finish — and working with The Furniture Ombudsman will help ensure this.'
