A WEST Devon woman held a fundraising meal in celebration of her 88th birthday last month.

Iris Griffiths of Chillaton held the fundraising meal in the school room of Marystowe Church. The meal raised £400 and a further £100 was raised from the raffle and donations. A cheque for £500 will be given to the Devon Freewheelers.
