A SPECIAL event tailor-made to service the needs of village hall committees is being held in Okehampton next month.
The ?Best Practice in Fundraising Techniques? workshop will enable village hall committees to share ideas and learn about what is happening in other village halls and community buildings across the county.
The idea of the workshop is to share fundraising techniques, from bid writing to innovative ways of making money within the community.
Committee members from village halls which have been successful in raising funds and grants will be on hand to give help and advice.
