YOUNG people in Hatherleigh will get the chance to try their hand at creating their own animated short film or making their own music at two half-term workshops running in the town. The popular Seize the Moment workshops for those aged 11+ are once again being run during half term. On Monday, October 24, it is music technology day with Sam Lythgo Jones with all equipment provided, including decks, a groove box and Reason music software to help people mix their own innovative sounds. On Thursday, October 27, any budding Nick Parks can have a go at using plasticine to create their own characters and produce an animated short with Mike Ford.
