A DAY full of fun will kick off the May half-term to a flying start at Morwellham Quay when the farm at the ancient spot hosts a farming life day.

Families will be able to step back in time as they watch ploughing demonstrations and ancient skills like stone-walling, rick-building, hand-shearing and smithying.

Local musicians will be providing music throughout the day and there will be wagon rides around the farm too.

And on Friday May 30, a murder mystery evening will be held at the Quay, featuring the ?Murder . . . by Appointment? company.

Chris Batters, company producer, has written a new script tailored to the many and varied settings at Morwellham.

The audience follows the actors as the story unfolds to a chilling finale, then put their heads together to solve the mystery. The evening includes a buffet supper.
