RESIDENTS in Horrabridge gathered to enjoy tasty treats, games and festivities at the annual village fair on Saturday.

A number of organisations from the village and further afield held stalls at the fair, which took place at Horrabridge Primary School.

Among the stalls were cakes, cream teas, plants, books and jewellery, as well as many other things on offer.

Firefighters from Princetown stopped by with their fire engine to talk about what they do and for villagers to explore inside the vehicle.

Visitors were also entertained by a Taekwando demonstration put on by children of the village.

The annual fair was organised by church wardens at St John the Baptist Church, and has been a highlight of the village calendar for many years.

The event was deemed very successful and raised more than £1,000 for church funds.
