THE annual fun day of Hatherleigh Rotary and Hatherleigh Cricket Club took place last Sunday, with lots of visitors making the day a great success.

Visitors to the cricket club got to enjoy around two dozen side stalls and fun. The day was opened with a performance by Bideford Pipe Band, and throughout the day visitors could try their hand at archery, take a wagon ride, and have a flutter on ferret racing.

Other attractions included a surf simulator, the local fire and rescue service, and music throughout the afternoon from Hatherleigh Silver Band. Canine lovers could enter their beloved pooches in the dog show, and alongside the top quality barbecue, there were tasty treats and refreshments.

The day was raising funds for Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Diabetes UK.
