EVENINGS of entertainment with a bit of a difference are on offer to family or work parties at Morwellham Quay this December.

The historic quay is hosting ?tavern evenings? throughout the month, when costumed guides will welcome visitors to the quay and escort them to the Quay Cottage, where a warm glass of mulled wine will be on offer.

This is followed by a lantern-lit tour of the village, culminating at the Ship Inn where dinner is served, accompanied by music from tavern entertainers. Games provide a rousing end to the evening.
