MORE than £100 was raised for children's charity CHICKS during a fun day held at the Royal Standard in Mary Tavy during the Easter weekend.

The event saw families in the beer garden entertained with a bouncy castle, petting zoo and local country and western singer Glen Johnson.

There was an Easter egg hunt and beer and cider festival, face painting and a colouring competition, which was won by Alesha Holmes.
