DRUMMING, tie-dye, puppet animals and creative craft will form the basis for a free activity workshop for young children taking place later this month.

During the Family Learning Week, parents and their children aged three to eight-years-old are invited to attend a free activity workshop morning in Okehampton.

Children and their parents will be able to choose two workshops from a list of four ? drumming; shakers and movement, tie-dye for fun, puppet animals or creative craft.

The aim is to get parents involved in their child?s early learning and tutors will give parents ideas of activities that can be continued at home.

The event will be held during half term week on Tuesday, October 26, between 10am and 12.30pm at the Ockment Centre Okehampton.

There will be a crèche for parents to use for babies and toddlers to enable them to be free to join their older children in the activities. Places are limited on a first come first served basis.
