FUN, laughter and hilarity is promised for this year's Prim Raf pantomime starting this evening (Thursday).
The Callington amateur dramatic theatre company Prim Raf will be putting on eight performances of 'The Emperor's New Clothes' — an update on the classic tale.
In this version, the Emperor is fed up of being the Emperor and instead wants to be the world's next top model.
Designers aim to create his winning outfit for the next top model competition, but at the crucial time the outfit is not finished.
The show will have all the elements of a traditional pantomime, including love, evil characters, a dame and slapstick comedy.
The show will take place today, tomorrow (Friday), and Saturday at 7.30pm at the Prim Raf Theatre in Biscombes Lane, with a matinee performance on Saturday at 2.30pm as well.
Performances will continue next week on Thursday, February 20, Friday, February 21 and Saturday, February 22 at 7.30pm with another matinee performance at 2.30pm on the Saturday.
Tickets, priced at £6 for adults and £4 for children, are available from Noakes, Habermell and Kerr, Fore Street, Callington or by calling Sheila on 01579 383717 or emailing [email protected]">[email protected]
