A BUMPER number of entries totalling 950 made the autumn show in Callington a great success this year.

The event was held in the town hall and saw the biggest ever number of fruit and vegetable entries.

Children from the primary school and the beavers also submitted entries to the show, which was open by the Rev Tony Stephens, of St Mary's Church.
