A GROUP of female morris dancers from Sticklepath swapped their ribbons and bells for limousine luxury recently as they travelled to the ballet in style.
Sallie Reason from Sticklepath bid for a ride in a limousine in a charity auction as part of BBC Radio Devon?s Chestnut Appeal.
Sallie and her five friends had already booked to see a performance by the Birmingham Royal Ballet at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth, and decided this was the perfect opportunity to take up their prize.
Sallie?s mother, Yvonne Reason said: ?Sallie has always wanted to have a ride in a stretch limo.?
She added: ?We usually go to see the ballet when it comes, and this was a little added bonus.?
The women set off from the Devonshire Inn at Sticklepath in the limo to catch a recent evening performance.
