THE hazardous racetrack outside my house at Lydford, otherwise known as the A386, seems to be going from bad to worse. In a 40mph speed limit, we have reckless drivers doing between 60 and 70mph, especially in the rush hours.

Leaving the premises has become a nightmare and as for walking, you take your life in your hands.

At the very least, how about some speed cameras, otherwise I can see a dreadful accident on the horizon during these dark days of winter.
