TAVISTOCK?S Carlsberg and the second team have recorded victories in their respective opening friendlies for the season. The seconds, who will be playing in the East Cornwall League first division, travelled to Sticker in mid Cornwall on July 18 and in sweltering conditions came away with a notable 2-1 win with goals from Paul Cowling and Ben Stephens The Carlsberg squad made the short journey to Horrabridge to record a high scoring game coming out winners by 10-1 with hat tricks from Glynn Hobbs and Mark Conday, John Hadjiyianni 2, Ryan Honey and Ryan Elliott. All the Lambs? friendlies will be away this season as Langsford Park has had a great deal of returfing done.
