TWO free days of innovative and exciting drama workshops including a contemporary production of Romeo and Juliet are on offer to young people from West Devon this summer. The South West Theatre Company in conjunction with The London Bus Theatre Company will be providing the workshops at Budehaven School on August 28 and 29 from 10am to 3pm. The project is funded by LNF. On day one, youngsters will participate in fun, interactive drama games to build confidence and team spirit as well as engender focus. Voice production and posture will be considered ? vital for the performance on day two. The afternoon will cover stage combat and a piece of text from ?Romeo and Juliet?. On day two, there will be rehearsals and preparing for the scene. Participants at the end of the day will act out the feud scene between the Montagues and the Capulets. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Travel can be reimbursed at £15 per day per child. Spaces are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
