AN electric organ is being offered free to any club, church or organisation that can give the instrument a good home.

The Lowry Electric Organ, thought to be from around the 1970s, is in good working order, with two keyboards and 13 foot pedals.

The owner, Jane Ball, said: 'Any club, hall, organisation or church that can make use of it are welcome to have it.

'It's very heavy so it needs to go somewhere where it will be in situ and stay there.

'We've had it for two or three years but it will be nice to see it being used.'
