U16s Ardent League Tavistock Town 2 SB Frankfurt 2 PLAYING against a team one point above them and with the cup semis approching, Tavistock wanted to put in a good performance. The game started with Tavistock dominating and good passing from the midfield of McCall and Wellard gave wingers Court and Dee good running opportunities to get the ball into the box. Doyle and Bray chased down everything. After ten minutes of battling, Bray put in a great through ball to Court who coolly slotted home. The back four of Hammond, Kelly, Derbyshire and Johnson were superb but any breaks were confidently dealt with by Webber. Soon after kick off to start the second half SB caught Tavistock napping and struck home the equaliser. Taylor joined midfield and Tavistock began to build chances. Court came off injured and Peck went on. Tavistock lost Kelly but fought on, and when Derbyshire headed on a ball to Bray he took his shot well.
